New version is cooking…

March 28, 2010

There is a Release Candidate for the persa branch in the git repository, also there is a string freeze for translators. In the next week, the new version (0.9.3) will be released, with bug fixes and improvements.
The directions to get it are on the wiki

Desperately waiting for ticket #49 to get done.

Once this is done LemonPos become the leading Open SOurce Candidate to replace QuickSell 2000 in the US.

QS2000 is still widely used for small mom and pop shops, it is a good progame but Micro$soft bought the company and did their Embrace, extend, extingusih thing.

LemonPOS is a very viable product and I am sure once ticket 49 is done it will generate a lot of Buss here in the US.

That ticket is semi-implemented, the implemented part is the “tax included in price”, and it is configurable (a checkbox in the configuration dialog).

And the tax-models are implemented on the development branch, but it is not suitable for real use, and it may even not compile for now because other things are not completed.
