Quick Information for Squeeze

September 4, 2008

Recently I have been looking for a chart widget for squeeze. I’ve got a piechart example from a kde developer and It liked to me. So I put hands on to integrate the example in squeeze start screen to show some useful information from the sales and stock. The only problem is that the example is just that -a concept- and it has a few functionalities. There is some work to fix some things and expand it; or wait for a complete widget from this guy or to use the qwt ones (Im not good drawing at runtime with qpainter).

Here is a screenshot of the concept, of course it’s just an example.

there is a application name squeeze –> http://squeeze.xfce.org/
and will be a conflict if this package is installed.

    Ivan:

Well, unless you want to install Xface (or his squeeze) and lemonpos in the same machine, you will have problems.
But Who wants to install Xfce and KDE4 to run lemonpos?

Where I can find this version of squeeze?
I don’t see reports in current SVN version.

If you refere to the screenshots shown in this blog about the quick information for squeeze, such code is not yet in the SVN because i was waiting to put also the left menu, which has an issue about licensing (It is a 3rd party component licensed as GPL ver 3 only, im not sure about changing my code to version 3).
Anyway, reports are not yet written.

Also, I had a problem with my hard disk and the code (with many modifications) was on it. I have a backup on another machine at school but i dont have network access to such machine for now. Im a little bit sick (herniated disk at my back), once i get better, i will continue with lemonpos.
